Classic Sourdough

We also call this “Classic Sourdough” and it comes as a round boule. This very delicious bread is a combination of Durum and ‘Red Fife’ flours. The former elevates the protein profile, and the latter adds a tasty quality that’s unique to this bread. Our best seller! | $9.00

Focaccia

A buttery soft crumb infused with just the right amount of rosemary and our own German White garlic. Outstanding for eating with soups, sandwiches or bruschetta. Unfurl your imagination! It’ll keep up with you. | $10.00

Einkorn Sourdough

A very pleasant-tasting bread that comes in a standard, hand-formed loaf. The name Einkorn is of German derivation (although it’s originally from Persia) and means “one grain”; perhaps because German bakers considered it the only flour one needed for bread production. A personal favorite. | $9.00

Khorasan Sourdough

This bread is crafted from Khorasan wheat that goes back many millennia and is non-hybridized. It has a smooth wheaty taste with a slight buttery aspect. It’s rich in protein like the four other Primal wheats. Highly recommended. Comes as a round ‘boule’. | $9.00

Rouge de Bordeaux Sourdough

Though not an ancient grain, and a hybrid wheat, it’s in the ‘heirloom’ wheat category that’s been grown in France for hundreds of years. As you may know, the French are pretty picky about their breads, so it comes recommended by a whole nation’s baking tradition. Very pleasant flavor profile; highly digestible bread that makes wonderful sandwiches and toast. | $9.00

9 Grain Sourdough

People are just crazy about this bread and for good reason: it’s extremely delicious. And nutritious! Given the plethora of non-wheat ‘support grains’, this bread is naturally alkaline and very digestible. Runs stronger, more earthy flavor notes. Comes as a hand-formed loaf. One of our farmers market phenoms. People just love it! Rich flavors reminiscent of mahogany-paneled libraries in Vienna. Packed with nutritional delight in every bite! | $9.00

Sourdough Baguette

Like all our sourdough breads, the 24-hour, cold-fermentation of the dough brings out the wheat’s best flavors; because the longer the fermentation, the more carbohydrates are consumed by the yeasts and bacteria that make up the ‘sour’. Carbohydrates mask the flavor elements of the wheat (which are proteins), and when they’re out of the way, all the wonderful flavors can shine forth. | $5.00

Ciabatta Italian Sourdough

People spend thousands of dollars to take in a scintillating sunset blazing over the amber wheat fields of Tuscany, so they can capture the same delight that this bread induces. Its wonderful golden wheat flavor will capture you for life. A great all-purpose bread! | $9.00

Sesame Semolina

One of our favorites for dipping in soups, sandwiches and toast. High in protein. High in satisfaction! | $9.00

Super Raisin

Many people at the farmers market ask “What makes it Super Raisin?” As I explain, the word “Super” connotes that it’s packed with raisins; so much so, that you can extra heavy on the cream cheese and the bread will hold up to it. Makes a wonderful breakfast or snacking bread! | $9.00
